E Entertainment Television and MTV are my two favorite channels in TV. However E has a diversity of things to watch. They offer from documentaries to reality shows. Even though it all has to be related to Hollywood one way or another, you still learn a lot by watching some programs like Dr. 90210. It is a reality TV show that involves a lot of woman and men of several ages that have to get so and so operations so they go to doctors in Beverly Hills. They interview the patients as well as the doctors and you go through the entire procedure with the patients.
WARNING: if you do not like blood or cuts DON’T WATCH THIS SHOW.
Even though some selected episodes may be relatively gross you learn a lot about the human body and their functions. I learned about the culture in certain areas of the United States and the standards that most women are dying to meet. There are other reality shows like Keeping up with the Kardashians, The Perfect Catch, Temptation Island, and Kendra to name a few.
The Red Carpet season is also a big deal in the film industry and E always invests a lot of money on transmitting these famous events directly home so we can watch them. The season is during February and March . Different types of celebrities are invited to a diversity of awards for their performances. The Oscars is one of the biggest events and it involves mainly best movies, directors, and actors. The SAG awards are for TV show, and the Grammy’s is for the music industry.
This channel offers news as well and comedy based on it. Most of the news you will see won’t be based on the most recent natural disaster or the political situation in some country unless celebrities are involved. The soup is a show were celebrities are caught in embarrassed situations and the host of the show makes their life miserable and jokes about them in a very sarcastic way. In comedy and news you also have the Chelsea Lately Show. Chelsea, the hostess, makes fun of the current situations in Hollywood including live interviews with celebs.
