FINAL EXAMS!!

Today I decided that for my blog I am not going to write about things that I Do Like but instead I want to express myself in a negative way. I am going to write about something that I truly don’t like at all. FINAL EXAMS! They always ruin everything, my weekends become stressful, and my chances of passing a certain class decrease.

At the end of each semester we are all forced to do final exams for each class so that the teachers can see how much we have truly learned during the school year and if any progress is shown. I personally would much rather not take these exams and do some kind of a project or a presentation in which all of our progress is shown and the teachers can truly see how much we know. In exams I tempt to stress out, memorize everything right before the test happens, and later forget everything. I don´t show all of my potential either due to the amount of stress. ? Isn´t December supposed to be a happy month where everyone is all excited about the holidays? Well, at Chapel it´s all very different, at least for the students it is.

We become total anti-social people during the last weekends for we have to study loads and loads of information that we were supposed to know but we don´t cause teachers didn´t have time to teach us!

Circus Classes

I always liked circuses, since I was a little girl I loved to go and watch them.....not because of the monkeys and other  animals but because I found it amusing to see pretty girls dancing and doing the coolest things I since those days my dreams were always to one day become somewhat like them. When I lived in Venezuela I looked for classes but never found them because the idea of taking circus classes seems a bit crazy. However I when i came to live here in Brazil I found circus classes at the Companhia Atletica. At first I felt uncomfortable about atetending those classes because I thought it was just like juggling and those things. When I went to the classes I saw how the students were learning to do a lot of different jumps that are similar to the ones in cheereleading, flips, and flexibility activities.
This was perfect for me and exactly what I needed when i needed it! Since I was doing cheerleading, circus classes would truly help me because I would be able to practice my jumps, stunts, and flips more. I was amazed at how much talent one of the teachers had at olny the age of 17. He as well as the other teachers had a specific talent that they were willing to share to us so that we can be inspired by their acts. I think that my special talent is my flexibility. Due to my ballet, cheerleading, and other dancing activities my flexibily got very developed and managable so that I can always go back and be even more flexible.
In the future I hope to be even better at what I enjoy duing so much. I practice 2 days a week for an hour and a half and since I started I can see some clear improvement and less fear toward hights, falling, and breaking my bones!

Heath Ledger

Heath Ledger is to me, one of the greatest actors thatever existed. He had a lot of spirit and when it came to playing a significant role, he really knew exactly how to get into the role. Unfortunatly it was too much and that led to his death. He was born in Western Australia, in Perth, April 1979. In High school he picked to do drama enstead of cooking and even though hes mates didn't apreciate his obvious talent, later he dropped out of school hoping to become the actor Hollywood needed. At the age of 17 him and his friend headed out to Sydney to persuade an acting career. He wasn't very fortunate and he got his first acting job in a low budjet film in 1997. The name of the film was Blackrock. Not until 1999 when he played a funcky character in 10 Thing I Hate About You.
A problem that Heath had in becoming an actor is that he was already tagged with being a "pretty boy" and an actor of not much depth. For five years he desperatly tried to sway this image that was stuck with him away. In all of his films that I saw he always managed to convince me that he was truly that character. He was last seem on screen in The Dark Night as the Joker. Unfortunatly for the world lost one of it's best actors in January 22, 2008 in his apartment in Manhattan. It was found that he died of overdose of perscription drugs to sleep and anty-anxiety medication. He was having a lot of personal problems when he played the Joker because he was beleiving that he truly was that person.
Even though the world lost him in a way he still lives inside many of us because his performances penetrated us and left a mark that will never be forgotten.

Escuela Campo Alegre

One of the places that I had to leave and I will always remember with a smile is my old school. When I lived in Venezuela I attended Escuela Campo Alegre in Caracas. In my opinion it is the best school the world has ever known simply because of their teachers, students, activites, and infrastructure. It is placed on top, in between and on a mountain whi makes it look even bigger than it already is. The best part about the infrastrucure to me besides the fact hat it had numerous courts, aditoriums ect. is the way that the classes are set. Each grade or section is like a totally diffrent world. Each building came with an auditorium and other rooms like art classes, and courts.

I made many significnant friendships that I am sure that will last forever. I made best friends and met role models. Every da when I was smaler I used to disobey the rules during recess time because otherwise it wasn´t fun. I learned to trust people in order to not get in trouble and to have fun without using technology. Many people always ask me if I do gymnastics or somehing similar because I am capable of doing acrobatics. I used to simply answer that no, I hadnt had any classes but at recess in ECA I always practiced crazy things with my friends.

The teachers are known for their pacience and their determination to help you any time that you have problems.  Mr. Dillon the, current high school principal, used to be my language arts teacher when I lived in Venezuela. I rememeber when I was going to move to Brasil he had to help me do my test because I had fractured y right hand. That was a very admirable act that I will always remember because he had infinite pacience.

I did a lot of activities in that school such as drama, swimming, ballet, an others. I liked it the most because it didn´t feel at all like an obligation. It was something that I really wanted to do. My ballet teacher was called Ms.Mariana and ever since I was litte I andmired her lithe movements and undescribable beauty. Every year we had a show and I felt like I learned alot from her..... this oes not only inlclude dance moves.

Starbucks

Starbucks, THE BEST COFEE SHOP EVER, has been around the world to please us since 1971. The name comes from Herman Melville’s Moby Dick, a classic American novel about the 19th century whaling industry. The first Starbucks opened in seattle with the objective to feed the people in Seattle with only the finest of the world´s coffee that had to be imported. Most of their coffee comes from Latin America, Africa and the Pacific. They have stores located in more the 30 countries and each of them cary comfortable places to sit and relax whether it s to think, work, or gossip with your friends.

If there is something that they have plenty of it´s food and offcourse beverages. They have yougurts, patries, cakes and cheesecakes, muffins, salads, sandwiches, and hot paninis that you can enjoy while you drink up. They have juices, frappuccinos and other blended beverages, and apart from that they have hot tea and coffee like cappuccino.
My personal favorite is the coffee frappuccino because it is very taste ful and yet simple. I like to put 3 diffrent kinds of sugar and cinamon on it to give it the "Yormin" touch to it! and I love the blueberry muffins that they make because of their size. I take a lot of time to eat it and after I am done I feel really satisfied.

Acting

I have always wanted to be an actress because I believe that it is way more than just the steriotype job that people think it is. For me acting goes way beyond the obvious money, red carpet events, and fame. In my opinion acting is a way to put yourself in other people´s shoes and learn important leasons in life without actually having to suffer the consequeces that the character in the movie had to suffer. New opportunities to meet vast amounts of different people become present in one´s lives when they get involved in the acting buisness.

I like a lot of actresses and actors and my favorite ones include Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Heath Ledger, Johny Depp, Aishwarya Rai,  Jennifer Aniston,Taylor Lauhtner, Sophia Bush, Rachel McAdams, Ryan Gosling, Charlie Hunnam, Ryan Reynolds, Shia Labouf, Dev Patel, Kat Winslet, Freida Pinto, Robert Pattinson, Eva Longoria, Halle Berry, Salma Hayek, Hayden Pantteniere, Jessica Biel, Matt Demon, Kate Beckinsale, Chalize Theron, Elizbeth Hurey, Amanda Byns, Queen Latifa, Keira knightly, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, Blae Lively, Eva Mendes, Eddy Murphy, Denzel Washington, Ashton Kutcher,Demi Moore, Vinvce Vaughn, Jonah Hill, and Orlando Bloom. I might be forgetting a lot of them but this is basically it hahaha!

Even though it is my dream to become an actress it is very hard to become an actress because it requires being at the right place at the right time. I have some difficulties with fake crying and I have been told that you just have to think of sad moments in your life.

My Father

Everyone believes that their family is very significant and my case isn´t any diffrent. My entire family is always very understanding and has been there for me when I needed them because everyone else has turned their backs to me. In my family my father I would say is the wisest one. It is not because he is old or because he has studied to much but everytime I talk to him  he seems to always have the right answers and the perfect suggestions.
Before I used to have serious communication problems with my father because he appeared to be very harsh and not accepting. The truth is that I think that he only acted that way in order to protect me. In a way I did feel protected but I still did not feel close to him at all. When I had a boyfriend I could not come up to my father and tell him the truth about everything. I  was terrified that when he found out he would be extremely disapointed in me. Like in every other situation the truth always comes out in one way or another.
When my parents fond out a lace of trust had been broken. They were not too disapointed with the fact that I had a boyfriend. They were sad and they felt betrayed because I didn´t have the trust to tell them. At the end of the story I learned that nobody is worth braking that trust with my father and that he truth will set me free.
I am actually currently in love and I made the choice to tell everything to my father no matter how hard it might be because I know now that I can come to him with any problem that I might have.

My Father was able to get out of the hole that he as born in. He comes from a very poor family and he was always very determined. When he was a kid he enjoyed doing sports all the time and he grew up to be a karate teacher at the age of 19 and he was the national champion in boxing. Then he wanted to become a somebody for some company. He went to college  with a full scholarship an later started to work in Pepsico. He workers there until the today and he has been promoted several times. I am very proud of my dad and I hope that one day his attitude and life is reflected in me.

El Avila

El avila is a mountain that is located In Caracas Venezuela. It surrounds the entire city giving it a very good and convinient climate. The views of the city is nothing but wonderful because from certain mounts you can see the city filled with buildings, parks, and houses. Behind the city ,the mountain is centered. In rainy days I used to enjoy sitting out in my garage and stair at the vast panoramic views. Besides having beautiful views it comes with a lot of benefits. There are no huricanes or major earth quakes because the mountain protects the city.
ice skatingTheir are acopious amount of activities that yo can do on top of the Avila like  ice skating, playing in the park, dining, climbing. You can driveup the Avila through diffrent dirrections and look at several views like trees and the city.

Pop Tarts

Whenever I feel sad, hyper, angry, hungry, stressed, and sick, pop tarts are always my first choice. They are extremely good and so many flavors are included. My persoal favorite are blueberry pop tarts because they are so sweet and they have white frosting that I love on top. Since they don´t sell them in Brasil I have to bring them every time that I go to the USA. Link:http://www.moneysavingmom.com/photos/uncategorized/2008/09/02/517ouflrvl_sl500_.jpg

Jimmy Choo

In the red carpet I always look for those specific brand of shoes. They always look so apeeling and even though I don´t have any Jimmy Choo´s at the moment I know that I will have in the future. The texture seems to be very comfortable and nice fitting to all kinds of feet.

Ballet

Ballet is a sport that I have been practicing for many years now. I really enoy it because when I dance, I feel like the wolrd just gets kind of quiet and all of my problems go away. I have been dancing for about 12 years and even though I stopped dancing for a year i am going to come back. My favorite show to watch is the Swan Lake because it is not very fast and there is a lot of flexibility involved in it. The costumes that the dancers are requiered to wear are very beautiful considering that they have feathers.

Sushi

One of my favorite foods of all time is SUSHI! Even though I am not the biggest lover of raw fish or fish at all sushi is sure a big exeption. I am very lucky to have moved here to São Paulo because many japaniese people live here, therefore a lot of sushi. My favorite kind would have to be  the california ones or kani. Sushi is known to be very healthy and light that is why I like to eat it at least ones a week.
